This is a refreshing, time-saving way of making sure that there’s always tea to drink. I don’t like the taste of straight black tea, as it leaves a dry taste in my mouth, and green tea alone is lacking in flavor. I use a mix of the two and find that it not only tastes great, but it’s a great thirst quencher as well!
For 1 gallon:
2 Family Size Green Tea Bags
2 Family Size Black Tea Bags
1 Chamomile Tea Bag (optional)
1 tsp Liquid Stevia
Brew tea as directed.
Pour into gallon container, and fill with water to top.
Sweeten with 1 tsp liquid stevia per gallon (or whatever suites your tastes).
To Make a Concentrate Solution…
I make up a concentrate of brewed tea and stevia so that all I need to do is dilute part of the concentrate to have a gallon of tea. I make enough concentrate to have 3 gallons of tea.
6 Family Size Green Tea Bags
6 Family Size Black Tea Bags
1 T Liquid Stevia
Brew all 12 bags in a large pot of boiling water.
Pour into 2 quart jug.
Mark off concentrate into thirds.
When ready to use, pour one third of concentrate into gallon jug, and fill with water.
